China
internship program
|
|
Features |
Though you should work during your
internship, we believe internship does not only
mean working in a company, but you can actually
learn something through your internship. When
interning in China, you will be
exposed to following attractions.
a. Chinese language and cultural course
For every student who join YesMeaning China
Internship Program, we will offer at least two courses of Chinese
language and culture. The courses usually take place before the
internship begins and will facilitate the intern’s stay in China.
In the courses, we will teach basic communication
skill in Chinese language, for instance, how to say hello, how to
bargain during shopping, how to ask the way, and how to make
self-introduction in Chinese. We will also instruct basic principles
of Chinese culture and custom, for instance, Chinese people’s religion,
the most worth-visiting places in China, and interesting
pieces of Chinese history.
Since the shortest term of internship is two
weeks, we can only confirm two such courses to every intern.
Nevertheless, for those interns interested in such content and
staying longer in China,
we can provide more opportunities to learn during their internship.
b. Meet-the-industry Parties
For every intern in China, we will arrange a
meet-the-industry party almost every two weeks. In the parties, YesMeaning’s
interns will have opportunities to meet and communicate with high
level management from different industries in China,
as well as other interns of different backgrounds.
Through this session, YesMeaning hopes to provide
interns with deeper understanding of Chinese economy, opportunities
to communicate with more managerial personnel from various
industries, and more friends from different places.
c. Working with Elites
The key point of your internship is no doubt
working in a Chinese company. Through YesMeaning’s client network, we
will ensure the qualification of your company. You will work with
qualified professionals in relevant industry, exchange your opinions
with Chinese experts of the industry and get a feedback, including
the advices and comments concerning your development in the industry
you interned.
d. Touch China
Guides
We understand that different students will have
different expectations of touching China when arriving. In
this sense, you are encouraged to reply our confirmation email, to
state what you want before you come to China. We will try our
best to give you useful guides, so as to
facilitate your touch-China experience.

Why Shanghai & Beijing? |
- Career Opportunity
Chinese economy has experienced continuous and
fast growth in the past 20 years, with above 8% annual growth in GDP.
While expanding, Chinese economy is also more and more globalized,
and a large variety of job or intern vacancies in China are open to
foreigners, especially in such fields as language services, finance,
marketing, human-resource management and international trade .
- Different Culture
Accumulated in its long history, Chinese culture
is quite different from European or American culture. There are a lot
of aspects which may attract you, such as ancient architecture,
high-class Chinese food, Peking
opera, Chinese art masterpieces and also the Chinese language.
What is more, you will also get ideas of the
Chinese business philosophy during your internship, which is
sometimes different from Western business philosophy but important
for your future career, since China’s influence in
global trading is expanding.
