YesMeaning International is committed to providing legally normative translation services. Terms of service that cover copyright, confidentiality, exemption and other obligations shall be part of the agreement YesMeaning
International has guaranteed to clients, and requires as follows:
Copyright and Confidentiality:
1.The clients should assure to have or get the copyright or right of translation. The company shall only keep the right of authorship while the clients own and deploy
their rest of rights.
2.Considering confidentiality issue, the company is entitled to revoke
and or remove the original and translation files that fail to be downloaded 30 days overdue the agreed time no matter whether the clients have downloaded on time, which shall not impair the entire translation fee originally settled with
the clients.
Exemption and Compensation:
1.The company shall be exempted from the liability for any legitimacy or further results it may cause, directly or indirectly, involved in any of the contents, use and subsequent translations. The clients
are liable to the legitimacy of original files.
2.Should any differences of opinion be
expressed by the client, a written form can be presented within five days upon reception of
the translation. Submissions overdue shall be considered a waiver
of this right by
the clients. For mistranslation or omission in translations incurred, the company will provide modification, supplements and compensations as the case
warrants. Compensation for delayed delivery should be calculated as unit price times agreed days divided by actual days used.
3.The company shall bear no liability in case of any problems occurred: problems in Confirmation of Order or Contract signed by the clients; failure of payment on time; actual counted words exceeding estimated numbers; inaccessibility to clients with the contact information provided by the clients. Any refund or claim amount shall be limited to the amount of translation fee received from the clients.
Terms and Conditions:
1.The clients should provide authentic and
intact documents for translation. Legible and
clear texts and images will avoid resubmissions
that may cause delay and misunderstanding.
2.Please confirm delivery to us of a finalized
manuscript. Modification, supplements or
deletions of the manuscript will interrupt the
flow and reduce efficiency. The company will
provide translation for the manuscript strictly
according to Confirmation of Order or Contract.
The client should negotiate with the company for
relevant expenses in any request for speeding up
or the suspension of the translation service.
The charge shall be otherwise calculated and the
delivery time shall be postponed accordingly. No
refund or advance of delivery time for mid
contract deletion of the manuscript. For an
amendment after the translation service this
will be considered a compulsory service not
included in the original costing.
3.Please provide us with intact and the necessary materials for reference so
to ensure the translation accuracy relating to special terms. Such materials may include previous translated documents, special terms and business correspondence
etc.
4.Attempt to achieve the translation agreed
delivery time. However the translation is a
work of high complexity and specification, even
the most experienced translators have their
workload scale and perfect translation requires
more steps including proofreading and quality
control.
5.The company is not liable for any legitimacy
or further results it may cause, directly or
indirectly, involved in any of the contents, use
and subsequent translations.
6.The Contract and Confirmation of Order are contractual documents and should be filled
for auditing purposes. Please fill out your particular requirements in the corresponding blank such as: format, bookbinding, safekeeping, special name for people, place or institution etc.
7.The company will provide translation for the
manuscript strictly according to Confirmation of
Order or Contract. The company will decline any
requirements for creating or guessing within a
translation.
8.The company shall only be liable for the accuracy of translation regarding
the source, contents and use of the original manuscript.
9.The company shall keep all manuscripts and translation files confidential. Particular requirements need prior notice and conclusion
within the confidentiality agreement. Measures shall be taken according to articles regulated in the agreement.
10.About website user: all translators, clients, staff can register on
www.yesmeaning.com and its affiliate websites. YesMeaning demands all users to strictly follow the norms and regulations
of Internet use stipulated by the PRC and strictly comply with the regulating authority limit and warning when operating
a website. Malicious operations like stealing other users’ information, decoding passwords and other
such activity shall be strictly prohibited. Any
other sequences or liabilities shall be otherwise borne thereto.
